Kate wants Philip to use Parker to reconnect with Melanie. Philip thinks his mother needs to stay out of his relationship and leave Chloe alone. Kate disagrees and Philip says she doesn't have a choice. At the same time, Melanie and Chloe spar, and Melanie comes to the conclusion that Kate is right – Chloe is not capable of taking care of Parker. Later, Melanie calls Kate and tells her she's "in." At the same time, Philip finds Chloe and promises to support her and Parker. Stefano wants complete cooperation from Rafe, or Allie Horton will disappear from Salem forever. Nicole is visited by Taylor, who gives her money back. Taylor wishes they could start over, but Nicole says it isn't a good time. Taylor goes to the Brady Pub where she runs into Sami. Sami tells Taylor she doesn't have to listen to Nicole. If she wants to stay in town – she should. Meanwhile, Nicole looks at the framed photo of herself and Taylor as kids. She goes to the Brady Pub, where she sees Sami has her fangs in her sister and tells her to butt out. Sami balks and suggests Nicole be a better sister and ask Taylor to be a bridesmaid. A recovering Jennifer is desperate for info on Hope's status. Daniel warns she can not tax herself. She must take it easy. Nathan and Jennifer talk about his situation and his renewed fight for Melanie. Later, after Nathan goes, Jennifer gets out of bed and collapses. Daniel takes her back and gives her a sedative. Jennifer, under the effect of the sedative, says that she wishes Jack was more like Daniel. Chad gets a job and Kate learns he's going by his new last name – DiMera.
