Unbeknownst to him, Sami feels there's something still not right with "Rafe." Meanwhile, Stefano threatens the real Rafe. Taylor has bonds with Theo and Lexie. Taylor rebuffs Lexie's suggestion that she stay in town and see Nicole again. However, after giving it more thought, she shows up once again at Nicole's door. Jennifer thanks Daniel for saving her life, and their friendship continues to grow. Chloe tries her best to get Daniel alone to talk. After he shuts her down, she finally realizes she has lost Daniel forever and falls into a deeper depression. Meanwhile, Kate tries to convince Melanie to take Parker away from Chloe and raise him with Philip.
