Rafe is in awe and stares at his imposter. EJ tells Rafe that they had to make the switch sooner than planned to take advantage of Rafe's accident. Rafe guesses that EJ and Stefano are keeping him alive in order to fill in the blanks of his life for his replacement. But Rafe maintains the plan still won't work because Sami will never believe the replacement isn't Rafe. Smug, EJ says she already does and shows him video of Sami and imposter Rafe kissing at Sydney's party. Nicole tells Taylor she can stay in Salem if she promises to stay away from Sami. Taylor decides she's better off leaving. After she goes, Sami tells Nicole she chased away the best thing that ever happened to her - someone who wants nothing from her except to be part of a family. Defensive, Nicole thinks Sami is the last person to be giving her advice, and they start to get into it when imposter Rafe interrupts. He's great with both of them, but when Nicole leaves and Sami isn't looking, he instinctively checks out Nicole. Brady runs into Taylor, and tells her Nicole needs her. He convinces her to stay in Salem. Victor tells Kate that Titan bought a company without his knowledge or approval. He thinks Vivian found a loophole to the papers she signed which gave control back to him. He tries to track her down. Kate, meanwhile, gives him back her keys to the mansion. She says she and Stefano have reconciled and she's moving back permanently with him. Victor thinks Kate is being unwise, given that she continues to keep secrets from him. He is convinced she'll be back. Brady overhears Victor screaming at his lawyers about Vivian's loophole. Brady reveals that he tricked Vivian into signing control of Titan over to him – he now owns the company. Victor, furious, feels Brady has betrayed him and the family. Vivian, realizing that Kate is moving back into the DiMera mansion, warns Stefano that Kate is dangerous, and will always keep secrets from him just as Vivian is sure Stefano is keeping secrets from Kate. While Vivian denies she wants to be the next Mrs. Stefano DiMera, she does insist she could be Stefano's friend. Kate walks in on this, and is furious. Vivian goes and Stefano assures Kate she has nothing to worry about. As long as he and Kate are honest with one another, they'll be fine.
