Sami reacts to imposter Rafe's outburst, and states she's not sure if they can continue their relationship. Realizing he's taken it too far, "Rafe" backtracks and pretends to pass out. Sami has him rushed to the hospital. After he's checked in, Sami apologizes for setting him on edge. Carly examines imposter Rafe and he doesn't remember her. Carly thinks this is odd, but brushes it aside. Later, she tells Sami something's not adding up right. At the same time, imposter Rafe, fearing he's blown his cover, calls Stefano and tells him to get over to the hospital. Sami tells Carly it's like the man in the hospital room is not her Rafe - just as Stefano arrives and overhears. Melanie and Dario face off. She warns she'll be keeping an eye on him. Unfazed, Dario dumps water on her head. Melanie asks Dario why he was stealing, and Dario explains he needed to do it for Arianna. He reveals he hired a private investigator to find out who ran over and killed his sister. Melanie notes that Arianna was her best friend. Dario blasts Melanie, stating she should be ashamed of herself for not doing more to bring Arianna's murderer to justice. Stephanie learns of Nathan's job opportunity at Johns Hopkins, and she apologizes to him, knowing his desire to leave town is partly her fault. Nathan won't let her take all the blame, and admits that his days of chasing Melanie have come to an end. Later, when he tells Maggie about the possibility of the job, she encourages him to take it. Vivian tells Carly about her entombment in the Kiriakis mausoleum. Carly offers no sympathy, and Vivian preys on the fact that Bo dumped her. Carly fires back that she may not have Bo, but at least she has people in her life who care about her - unlike Vivian. Later, Vivian visits Maggie and encourages her to go after Victor. After Vivian goes, Maggie's tempted to do just that... Kate reassures Stefano that he and Chad will eventually become close. Stefano thanks her for being so supportive. Later, Kate has a scratchy encounter with Vivian. Vivian vows to herself that she'll find out what Stefano's hiding, and use it in exchange for Kate's head.
