At the infirmary, Jennifer tries to talk Lee out of taking her heart. Lee attacks her when she realizes Jennifer is trying to call the police with her cell phone. Jennifer is knocked out and then strapped to an operating table. Lee surgically removes her heart and gives it to Ben for a transplant. In the woods, Bo sees Carly and Hope approaching as Burt, the crooked state investigator, is about to shoot him. Bo stalls him, and gives Hope time to overcome Jane while Carly screams and Bo grabs Burt. The state cops arrive and believe Jane and Burt over Bo and Hope. The state cop intends to put Bo and Hope away for the rest of their lives. Carly makes a call to Daniel, and tells him about the prison body parts business just as Daniel sees Ben with a heart from the prison. Stefano wants to start his and EJ's plan dealing with Rafe, but EJ thinks it's too soon. Stefano tells him they must strike now or not at all. EJ overhears Sami talk to a sleeping Rafe about his part in her kids' lives and, newly energized, tells Stefano to go ahead with the plan tonight. They go to their basement where a man enters. It's "Rafe." Meanwhile, Rafe doesn't seem to recognize Sami and closes his eyes. Daniel tells her it's normal, although they still don't know whether he suffered any brain damage from the accident. Gabi is not happy with Sami for getting Rafe into an accident, and Sami also blames herself. Alone with Rafe, she kisses him, and his eyes open. He tells her he loves her then goes back to sleep. Sami is encouraged that all will be well. Gabi, alone with Will, hopes nothing else will happen to her family. Nicole burns a letter without reading it. She's less than happy when her sister, Taylor, pays her a surprise visit.
