At the hospital, EJ watches as Sami's suspicions about the Rafe imposter grow. In private, the imposter tells EJ that things are harder than he thought with Sami - he needs to know more about their past from the real Rafe. EJ calls Stefano to make sure he does not give Rafe the mind-erasing drug. However, he's too late - Stefano has already injected the real Rafe with the drug. Meanwhile, Daniel suggests ways in which Sami can try to help Rafe be the man he used to be. At home, Sami asks "Rafe" to make love to her - the way he used to. Meanwhile, the real Rafe awakens and asks Stefano who he is - but is he faking? Taylor reluctantly visits Nicole and has mixed feelings that her wedding night went so well. Taylor reveals that Brady offered her a job again. Nicole is supportive - she wants her sister to be as happy as she is. Later, Nicole goes to get changed for the day, and Taylor decides to leave before EJ arrives - only to come face-to-face with him. While Brady is supportive of Chloe, Victor appears to lay down the law with Philip, insisting Chloe come nowhere near Parker. Victor is stunned when Brady brings Chloe home and announces she'll be living at the mansion. Brady and Philip join forces, and Victor finally allows Chloe to stay. Philip reunites a grateful Chloe with Parker. Meanwhile, Victor makes it clear he ultimately accepts Philip's actions and can handle Chloe - but Brady is dead to him... And he will find a way to destroy his grandson. Nathan makes a declaration of love to Melanie - but is it too fast and too soon? Stephanie interrupts and learns about the miscarriage. She feels bad, but sees that everything is now wide open for Nathan to reconnect with Melanie. Later, when Melanie feels faint and Nathan picks her up in his arms, it appears as if exactly that is happening.
