Imposter Rafe and Johnny return home from the hospital, and imposter Rafe covers his few memory slips by blaming his head injury. Meanwhile, the real Rafe confronts EJ, thinking EJ abducted him in order to win Sami back. EJ denies, but Rafe scores a hit when he says he knows this is about Johnny and Sydney. EJ says they'll be celebrating Sydney's birthday, Johnny's homecoming, and Rafe won't be a part of it. At the homecoming/birthday party, Sami struggles to behave when she sees Nicole playing mother with Sydney. EJ and Sami share a warm moment as they remember Grace. When EJ and imposter Rafe are alone, he demands more information about Rafe. At the same time, the real Rafe wonders what game EJ is playing. Nathan is guilt-stricken in the role he played in causing Jennifer to nearly lose her life. Melanie points out that Jennifer would never blame him so he shouldn't blame himself. When Maggie encourages Melanie to give Nathan another chance, she agrees to hear him out about his love for her and willingness to raise her baby. But ultimately, Melanie feels she can't trust him and leaves. Nathan is determined to prove her wrong. Meanwhile, Maggie, Doug, and Julie are with unconscious Jennifer, praying she'll wake up soon. Julie and Maggie share warm, emotional moments with an unresponsive Jennifer... who then finally opens her eyes. Taylor bonds with Theo. When her bus is cancelled, she accepts Lexie's invitation to spend another day in Salem.
