Sami has finally told Rafe the truth – she shot EJ. At first, Rafe doesn't believe her, but then she offers proof. He pledges his love and loyalty to her only to be called away to finish resigning from the FBI. Later, Sami tells Will that Rafe knows all, and Arianna, while searching for Rafe, overhears Sami admitting she shot EJ. While Chloe, Philip, Carly and Nicole all wonder if the wedding will happen, Melanie tells Daniel he cannot get married and he seems to understand. Daniel explains he heard what Chloe said about Melanie not being his "real" child, and Melanie eventually realizes Chloe has covered up the truth with another lie. Daniel explains his love for Chloe to Melanie as she prepares to break his heart with the truth. However, before she can, Daniel is called away. Melanie becomes conflicted, and after a run-in with a bitter Brady, she knows what she must do. In the park and moments away from the wedding, Chloe and Carly in a strange way bond as they prepare to face the music. Maggie and Victor arrive, and patiently wait. Chloe, seeing Melanie has done nothing, pushes an upset Daniel to start the wedding. As the ceremony begins, Melanie arrives and stops the wedding, confronting Chloe in front of all. Brady and Nicole discuss Vivian's entombment, and their new living situation. As they come together for a kiss, Arianna is shocked to witness it. Arianna accuses Nicole of changing Brady for the worst, and Nicole claims she's just jealous. Meanwhile, Vivian has contacted Gus through a receiver she placed in his bag. She pleads to Gus, who refuses to help her. She's crazy. Vivian continues to beg, and tells him what happened to her. However, Brady checks on her and wonders who she's talking to. He nearly discovers all, but Vivian covers. Affected by her words, Gus finally decides to help Vivian. Victor arrives at Maggie's to pick her up for the wedding, but she refuses. She explains that it feels as if she's being disloyal to Mickey when she spends time with Victor. Refusing to be defeated, Victor charms his way back into Maggie's good graces and they leave for the wedding together.
