Sami must continue the ruse with EJ that they are married, as Rafe tries to be supportive. But it's hard on both of them when Rafe walks in on EJ kissing Sami. Stefano comes to visit and EJ finally reveals to his father that he's faking and remembers everything. Meanwhile, Rafe takes Sami back to the Brady Pub, and to cheer her up, he wants to take her and the kids somewhere for a surprise. Kate is worried about keeping two secrets from Stefano: her call to Sami ratting out EJ about wanting to take the kids, and that Chad is Stefano's son. She decides to ease her conscience by getting one secret off the table and calls Chad over, but doesn't tell him, just pitches him the idea of a paid internship with DiMera Enterprises. Chad gets the wrong idea and thinks Kate is coming on to him. Nicole is confused off Brady's visit to the pet cemetery supposedly to get the remains of his pet orangutan, Sparkles. She unsuccessfully pumps Keith for info and goes to question Brady himself, but finds Victor instead. She learns from Victor that he has no knowledge of a pet orangutan ever being there. Meanwhile, Brady is railing against Vivian about burying his mother's bones in a pet cemetery. Nicole shows up outside, and hears him yelling. She hides when he goes, and then goes inside, thinking he was talking to his dead mother. She comes across Brady's headset and listens, hearing Vivian's voice on the other end.
