Rafe tells Sami that EJ was the one who had Sydney kidnapped. EJ calls Rafe a liar and tells Sami not to believe him. Rafe plays Nicole's confession to overhearing EJ admit it. EJ says Sami can't believe Nicole. And Sami doesn't. She slaps Rafe for buying into Nicole's lies. Then Rafe produces the CD of EJ's actual admission. EJ tries to prevent him from playing it and almost comes to blows with Rafe, until Sami tells Rafe: play it. Nicole comes to Brady out of fear for her life, believing EJ will kill her after he finds out that she blabbed to Rafe. She begs for Brady's help. But he rejects her outright, tells her he's nobody's hero anymore and goes. Victor applauds him and reveals he's the one who served her up to Rafe. Brady ends up drinking alone. Maggie sees him. Brady assumes she wants to quit being his sponsor, but Maggie won't abandon him. At Dr. Baker's trial, Baker baits Bo into attacking him, but Roman and Carly stop it. During a recess, Bo is left alone with Baker and blames him for what happened with Hope, but Baker places the blame where it belongs - on Bo. Bo's affected by it, but gives an emotional testimony on behalf of Hope to put Baker away for his crimes. Everyone is shocked when it's announced that Hope is the final witness in Baker's trial. Vivian shows Victor a picture of the sarcophagus, presumably for Isabella. Maggie comes up on it, learns of Vivian's plans, not realizing they are for her. Later, Vivian is clear to Gus that she intends the sarcophagus not for Isabella, but for Maggie.
