Unaware, Bo sips from his drugged coffee as he and Hope try to understand where their marriage went wrong. The emotional moment turns bitter when Hope realizes Bo refuses to take sole responsibility. Hope reveals her dark side, but Bo passes out before he can react. She goes to Dr. Baker, who has the rest of the items on her list. He's upset that she plans to set fire to her house with Bo in it. He is unable to dissuade her and Hope leaves, and returns to the house. She pours gasoline on Bo, and says one final goodbye as she lights a match. Sami tells Rafe she's permanently moving in with EJ, hoping to reconnect with him as a couple. Rafe hides his devastation, and asks if EJ makes her happy. Sami avoids, about to tell Rafe she still loves him, when they're interrupted. Later, feeling that Rafe's moved on with his life, Sami decides to keep quiet about her feelings and leaves. With Johnny at the DiMera mansion, a resolved Sami says she's home. Rafe, meanwhile, believes he and Sami aren't through yet. Nicole worries that Brady is still in love with Arianna. He denies, but won't stop looking for the proof of her innocence and bring the real perpetrator to justice. Nicole covers her fear that Brady will discover her culpability in framing Arianna and wonders if she and Brady can ever have a future as long as he fights for Arianna. Brady says when he proves Arianna's innocence, they will. Arianna fires EJ as her lawyer. She knows he's distracted by other things in his life and doesn't want to be a burden on him. EJ insists she's not, and wants to prove her innocent of the muggings. Arianna sees a loving EJ with Johnny and gives in, and tells him she trusts him with her life. She runs into Brady, and asks if they can find a way not to be awkward with one another. Brady agrees, but resists when Arianna warns him about Nicole. Meanwhile, Nicole goes to EJ and tells him that she wants him to prove Arianna's innocence immediately, as long as he doesn't reveal she framed Arianna. EJ has no choice but to agree. Nicole is amazed that she and EJ could ever come to a truce, unaware Rafe has overheard this last part.
