EJ discusses his frustration with Stefano trying to get Nicole to trip up and reveal she had something to do with setting up Arianna. Stefano tells him to leave Nicole to him. Stefano then learns that EJ has told Sami he's in love with her. Stefano worries EJ is setting himself up for a big fall. EJ feels confident he's doing everything right this time, and he and Sami will be happy. Later, Sami opens up to EJ about how she might have feelings for him, but can't get too close yet. She has to learn how to be on her own without a man. She decides to continue living at the DiMera mansion for the time being. Nicole is frustrated that she doesn't know what EJ might have on her. She sees Sami and slyly tries to get information out of her, but fails. Stefano shows up and torments Nicole, telling her he's seen EJ's proof. A freaked Nicole runs out on Stefano, and then realizes she's being followed. She tricks Stefano's man, who's seized by a cop as Nicole slips away. Nicole lets herself into the DiMera mansion after Sami and EJ leave with the kids, and starts to look for EJ's supposed proof. Hope calls Baker and makes plans to see him as Justin learns from Ciara that she found his wallet under Hope's bed. Hope tries to cover with Justin, and ends up kissing him. Adrienne shows up with papers for Justin and learns from Ciara that he's in the bedroom with Hope. She walks in on their embrace. Hope covers, but Adrienne isn't so easily convinced. After Hope leaves, Justin says he was only comforting Hope, but Adrienne notices Hope's lipstick on his lips. Meanwhile, Hope meets up with Dr. Baker, and gives him a list of what she needs for her to finally finish off Bo. Chad and Will fight over the fact that Will called Chad's mom a whore. After a cop breaks up the fight, Chad gets Will to admit he overheard Madeline tell Kate she was a call girl. Chad thinks Will heard wrong, but is troubled by it. Chad doesn't confront Madeline, but wants to figure out if it's true...
