While locking up the pub, Roman is attacked by Hope and Baker. Unbeknownst to his partner, Baker plants evidence for Nicole that will implicate Arianna. Carly finds an unconscious Roman and spots a petite brunette running away. Abe, Brady and Nicole arrive on the scene just as a horrified Caroline exits the pub with Arianna. Brady pulls Ari aside and apologizes for their fight. At the hospital, Arianna and Nicole have words as Nicole shines a light on Ari's lack of an alibi. Roman wakes up, and Abe tells him the perp left evidence. Everyone is happy to hear this, until it's revealed the prints on the flashlight belong to none other than Arianna Hernandez. At the same time, Baker complains to Hope that Roman wasn't carrying much cash. Hope goes off on him - she has her reasons for choosing the victims... In private, Hope whispers to herself that she's getting closer to her ultimate target - Bo. Meanwhile, Carly tells Caroline that Hope seems to harbor a lot of anger towards Bo... Philip makes Melanie a romantic dinner and she talks about the troubles between Daniel and Chloe. Philip advises her to stay out of it. Later, they go to the Cheatin' Heart where they run into Stephanie and Nathan. Melanie notices Stephanie isn't drinking and privately calls her on it. Stephanie warns her to butt out. Nathan tells Philip he thinks he's a good guy after all, which eats away at a guilt-ridden Philip. Stephanie takes note. Melanie confides in Nathan her concern about her father and Chloe. Nathan reacts, knowing about Chloe's affair, and Melanie realizes he knows something. Will he tell? Meanwhile, tension arises between Chloe and Daniel after a therapy session. Chloe is clearly on edge... and Daniel wants to know why.
