Hope comes down hard on the cop who took EJ's statement. Roman calls her on this, but Hope wants more details about the attack and feels the cop didn't get them. Later, Julie arrives and sees Hope with her medication. She questions Hope, but she explains they help her sleep. The conversation leads to Ciara and Julie has a theory about her acting out. Hope disagrees with Julie's assessment and the conversation turns to Justin and Hope says they're not dating, but Ciara seems to endorse the situation. Later, Hope visits her doctor and tells him she spilled her last prescription. She needs a refill. Baker wakes up to hearing Nicole's voice on TV, and he realizes she's risen from the ashes and so will he. With the money he took from EJ's bank account, life will get easier. However, a bookie finds Baker and takes all of his cash. After the bookie leaves, Baker says this little setback will be remedied once he meets back up with Hope. However, when he runs into her, she's not the person he expected. Nicole and Arianna learn EJ's been attacked. Nicole wants to interview him and Arianna's her way in. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lexie tells upset EJ she's certain he'll get his memory back. EJ needs to remember because he saw the accomplice, and the person seemed familiar. Later, Arianna shows up and convinces EJ to let Nicole interview him. While Nicole starts to ask him questions, EJ suddenly gets the feeling that whoever hit him, was a friend of Nicole's! Mia wants Chad back and it appears Chad wants nothing to do with her. His mom, Madeline, learns he has a study group at the DiMera mansion and wants him to stay away. When Chad calls her on this, she points out that the Peterson-Woods are public servants. The DiMeras are not. Chad humors his mom, but she has another reason for disliking the DiMeras. Later, Madeline meets with Kate and puts her on notice. At the same time, Will learns Chad and Mia are through, but Mia vows to get Chad back. She knows just how to do it too...
