Rafe is about to reveal to Sami his suspicions that she's Sydney's mother when he gets a call from his FBI friend that the DNA results are in. Rafe meets his friend on the pier and sees the results proofing that Sydney is Sami's baby. However, as Rafe gets this news, Stefano's assassin takes aim. Nicole tries to talk Stefano out of killing Rafe, but Stefano says they must. Nicole runs into Mia, who tells Nicole how she ruined her life so Nicole could have Sydney, and tells Nicole to take care of Sydney. Nicole vows she'll do whatever that takes. EJ overhears Stefano put the hit out on Rafe and questions him. Stefano tries to cover, and EJ feels betrayed. EJ pretends to acquiesce, and later tries to figure out what Stefano is up to. Arianna finally admits to Brady that she's working for the police dealing drugs undercover. She doesn't think Brady believes her at first, but he assures her he does and promises to help her find the person running the operation so her nightmare will end. Justin comes up with a plan to get Carly temporarily out of jail and not extradited. She's to be released into Bo's custody. Carly refuses at first, but is finally convinced. Bo and Hope are angry at Victor for turning Carly in. Victor warns Hope that Carly will come between Bo and Hope, then Victor warns Carly he won't let her do just that. Hope is unsettled that Carly's moving back in with Bo, and Bo's unsettled seeing Hope go home with Justin. Will runs into Mia and tells her that she's the most selfish person he's ever known, even though it's been just the opposite and Mia has sacrificed everything for her baby.
