Hope cracks open Vivian's puzzle box, reads the note within, and is heavily upset. Justin asks her what's inside and Hope tells her that Carly's secret is that she has a daughter. Fearing the worst, Hope thinks Carly's child might be Bo's, but she talks her way out of that theory. Bo would have told her. Hope realizes that if she had been around, maybe Bo would have shared all of this with her. Vivian and Gus plot how to end Melanie's life. She sends Gus on an errand to pick up something special for Melanie. Victor shows up and in private warns Vivian to leave Melanie alone. It's Carly he wants her to take care of. Vivian agrees and asks Gus to do one more cryptic thing. As much as Vivian hates betraying Victor, she's going to take care of Melanie and Carly once and for all. Meanwhile, Hope and Justin return to the Kiriakis mansion and Justin offers his support and Hope thanks him. Justin and Hope share a hug and it's witnessed by Victor. Hope goes to talk to Bo and Victor blasts Justin. Alone with his uncle, he tells him he's going after Hope. Victor thinks he's a fool, but Justin is determined. At the same time, Hope runs into Vivian and knocks her "gift" for Melanie to the ground. Bo learns that Melanie invited Carly to her wedding. Carly's excited, but Bo thinks it's a bad idea. Vivian's still on the prowl and despite burying the information at the Swiss hospital, Vivian might be suspicious. Carly thinks Bo has a point. Worried for Carly, and to move their relationship along, Bo invites Carly to move in. Carly is touched and agrees. Bo goes to get her belongings at the Salem Inn as Carly's called in to the hospital. Bo brings her stuff home and while he's outside on a call, someone opens Carly's bags and cuts her clothing to bits. Meanwhile, Carly supervises in the operating room with Nathan, who makes a mistake. Carly saves the day and calls him on his lack of focus. She thinks it has something to do with Melanie, but Nathan shuts her down and walks away. EJ expresses his joy in Sami and Rafe's break up. Anna tries to warn him that Sydney will be hurt in all this, but EJ puts Anna on warning. He knows what's best for his daughter. Meanwhile, Arianna is afraid she won't be able to fulfill her promise to Melanie and be her maid of honor. She goes to the Brady Pub and interrupts Nathan and Stephanie, who are planning their getaway. Nathan takes off, and an arriving Melanie overhears Arianna tell Stephanie about how she might be going to prison. Melanie says that Stephanie can take over for Arianna if that happens, but Stephanie's not so sure. After Arianna leaves to meet Roman, Stephanie agrees to be a bridesmaid. At the same time, Arianna learns she's a free woman from Roman, and tells him that Anna's back in town. Roman calls Anna while Arianna runs in to EJ.
