Stefano denies taking Sydney and insists Nicole has her tucked away somewhere. He offers his services to help find Sydney, but EJ and Sami reject his offer. Roman arrives and tells Rafe that Fay visited Nicole. Rafe realizes that if Fay took the baby, they have to question Nicole now. Meanwhile, Nicole fights the sedative and tries to escape. EJ assures Sami they'll find their daughter while Stefano calls Kate and tells her that Sydney will be found. After Sami leaves, Rafe enters Nicole's room and is stunned to find it empty. Carly stands at the door as Hope lays into her. She knew Carly may have left the house, but she wouldn't ever leave Bo and Hope's lives. When Carly admits she tried to move in with Maggie and failed, Hope wonders what the real story is. Victor visits and takes Ciara leaving the three of them to have it out. Carly apologizes for coming back, and tells them she's moving into the Salem Inn. Bo continues to defend Carly, but Hope won't hear it. Upset that Bo and Carly still insist on keeping secrets from her, she leaves. Later, Hope runs into Mia and questions her about Carly. Mia admits she finds Carly strange and doesn't trust her, which pleases Hope. Meanwhile, Carly, not wanting to come between Bo and Hope, thinks she should tell Hope the truth that Carly came back to Salem for her daughter. Bo disagrees. He thinks the secret must be kept until they know Carly and her daughter are not in any danger from Vivian. Carly admits she pushed too hard with her daughter. Bo insists that Carly move back into his house, assuring her it's the only safe place, but Carly denies. Mia expresses to Maggie that she does not trust anyone but her. Especially after Nicole pretended to be her friend and then betrayed her. Mia still mourns the death of her daughter, Grace. Maggie consoles her and suggests she should try to get in touch with her mom, but Mia rejects the idea. Maggie worries that Mia is growing bitter. Vivian has a run in with Kate who thinks Vivian is going after Victor to get closer to Phillip. Gus brings Vivian a letter from Lawrence's safe deposit box. She goes to Victor and finds him poisoning Ciara against Carly. Learning that Victor hates Carly as much as she does, Vivian asks if he'll help her get revenge on Carly for killing Lawrence. Victor says yes.
