EJ sees Rafe and Sami kissing and is freaked out. Stefano interrupts, and eventually Rafe tells all about Anna and his failure to get the necessary information. Stefano is relieved, but EJ remains rattled by what he saw. Sami begs Rafe to talk to her about the kiss, and Rafe explains it was a kiss goodbye. Later, Rafe shares a reunion with Arianna and Gabi. Rafe learns about EJ defending Arianna in her case, and wants her to dismiss him. Arianna wonders if this is about her – or Sami. Meanwhile, an upset EJ confronts Sami and tells her that he loves her. Daniel tries to assure Chloe that they really are going to have a baby. Chloe tries to come clean with Daniel, but can't. Daniel tells Melanie the good news, but asks her to keep quiet. Meanwhile, Philip thinks Melanie is coming too close to the truth about him and Chloe. At the Brady Pub, Stephanie explains her fears about Philip to Kayla. Philip is confronted by Kayla about the son he gave up, and later, Melanie arrives to overhear. Carly confides her dilemma about Chloe's affair with Jennifer. Jennifer reinforces Carly's determination to do the right thing. Later, Carly confronts Chloe, and makes it clear she cannot be silenced and prepares to tell Daniel all. Kate makes it clear to Madeline that – for now – she is not telling Stefano what she knows. However, she makes no promises to always keep the secret. Later, Stefano tells Kate he is glad to know she always has his back, and Kate is clearly torn about what course she should follow.
