Baker thinks Hope's covering when she fails to recognize him but is later freaked to realize she's the detective leading the investigation of the muggings. Baker decides to hightail it out of Salem. Meanwhile, Hope goes to tell EJ his bank account's been hacked. Not recognizing Hope as his attacker, EJ accuses Nicole. Hope hauls Nicole in to the station as the prime suspect. Earlier, Arianna is pleased when Brady refuses to help Nicole clear her name. Sami talks to Rafe about Stefano and EJ. They argue about whether EJ and Sami have feelings for each other. Rafe gets a lead on Anna, unbeknownst to Sami, and makes plans to leave town. He and Sami say goodbye. Later, EJ asks Sami to commit to whether she's going to move into the DiMera mansion. Mia tries to get Madeline to help her smooth things over with Chad, but Madeline says she can't. Later, Mia kisses another guy in an unsuccessful bid to make Chad jealous. Will gives her a piece of his mind, but Mia has the last word. Meanwhile, Kate tells Stefano that Madeline Peterson-Woods came by to lay down the law. Stefano finds Madeline and lays down a bit of his own law, but Madeline has something over him and Kate that's troubling to them both. Kate imagines blood on her hands off the encounter with Madeline. Will sees she's upset and promises not to let anyone hurt his grandmother.
