When Hope sees how fond Ciara is of Justin she starts to see him with new eyes. Before she and Justin can explore this further, he leaves on business. Meanwhile, Adrienne meets Carly, who gets Adrienne to admit she was terribly worried for Justin after he was attacked. Carly convinces her to give him a second chance. Adrienne runs into Hope, and Hope admits she made a mistake bringing Adrienne back to Salem. Philip gives Melanie another chance to come clean about her feelings for Nathan. She doesn't. Later, Melanie confides in Daniel about her conflict over loving the two men. Daniel is supportive. Melanie sends him home where he runs into Carly. They share a fun and close moment, which is witnessed by Chloe. Nathan and Stephanie are happily in bed until he gets called to hospital. Meanwhile, Philip confides to Chloe that he has doubts about Melanie. He won't know if Melanie truly is over Nathan until he sees how they act around each other. Later, Nathan and Melanie freeze when they see one another, just as Philip enters, noticing. Brady sets up job interview for Arianna, and then calls her on giving the check to Nicole. Brady finds Nicole at the Brady Pub and asks her to take the check and leave town. He leaves and Nicole considers. Arianna enters and meets with Titian TV reporter, Cece, who wants to interview her as her possible production assistant. Arianna and Nicole start to argue which the reporter surreptitiously films. When Nicole sees, she gets feisty with them. Brady enters and outraged Nicole tells him Arianna set her up!
