Bo communicates via webcam with Ciara, who is with Maggie and Caroline. Carly shows up telling Bo that she had a moment of connection with Melanie. Bo warns her to keep her distance in order to protect Melanie from Vivian. Carly and Bo kiss which is witnessed by Ciara on the computer. Affected, she runs to Caroline, who decides to go to Bo's for a surprise visit. Later, Caroline and Ciara walk in on a warm moment between Bo and Carly. Alone with Bo, Caroline urges him to make things work with Hope. Bo reminds her that Hope walked out on him, and Caroline reminds him about the repercussions this will have on Ciara. Caroline isn't convinced that Bo's relationship with Carly is serious and expresses her disapproval. Caroline leaves, and Bo helps Ciara with a picture. He finds a photo of him, Ciara and Hope in happier times. Melanie refuses to let Nathan examine her hand. Carly witnesses the sexual tension between them. Alone with Melanie, Carly gets her to admit she's torn between Nathan and Philip. Carly suggests that Melanie take time to decide who she wants to be with, but Melanie decides she's going through with the wedding, and invites Carly. Carly is touched. Meanwhile, Stephanie shares her doubts about Nathan's feelings for her with Justin. He advises her to be honest with him. When Stephanie meets with Nathan, he invites her to a romantic getaway. She agrees, but they'll go after Melanie and Philip's wedding, and the two kiss. Hope questions Vivian about her interest in Melanie. Vivian makes small talk, but keeps her true intentions for Melanie hidden. Vivian has an appointment and runs along while Hope decides to take action. She asks Justin to help her steal Vivian's puzzle box that contains Carly's secret, and Justin agrees. Vivian returns unexpectedly, and Justin stalls her until Hope slips out of Vivian's room. Later, Vivian meets with Gus and tells him she hasn't figured out how to get rid of Melanie, but knows when: on her wedding day. Justin and Hope, meanwhile, move to Justin's hotel room for privacy and Hope opens the box. Chad thanks his father for letting him go Vancouver with his friends. At the same time, Mia continues to resent Gabi's going to the Olympics with Chad. Mia goes to Woods and makes it sound like she's going on the trip and that Chad and her are still together. Meanwhile, Will looks for Mia, who supposedly went to check on Maggie. Later, Will finds Mia back at the Java Café and questions her whereabouts as Chad, getting off a heated phone call, announces to Gabi, T and Kinsey that his dad canceled their trip. Mia is secretly pleased.
