EJ demands Nicole tell him what happened to Sydney. Delirious, Nicole says she's not sure. Frustrated, EJ yells at her and Sami stops him. Sami lays into Nicole too. She wants her to tell the truth. Nicole says she tried to call Sami and that's when she was knocked out, and ended up at the hospital. Later, EJ and Sami appeal to Brady to find out the truth. He talks to Nicole and she denies staging the incident to hide Sydney, begging him to believe her. Later, Brady tells EJ and Sami that he thinks she's telling the truth. Upset, Sami wonders who took their baby and EJ glances over to Stefano. He realizes it must've been his father and accuses Stefano of taking Sydney. Earlier, Rafe and Stefano go toe to toe. Rafe criticizes Stefano for not taking responsibility for his devious actions in hiding Nicole's secret. In defense, Stefano asserts he did if for his family's sake. Rafe proposes that if he wants to help the situation at all, he can control EJ's temper. Stefano warns Rafe he's opened Pandora's Box. Rafe doesn't see how and later Stefano explains that by bringing the switch to light, Sami and EJ will get closer. Rafe is secure in his relationship and assures Stefano that he is doing it for Sami. EJ also learns Stefano is there and tells his father to butt out. Speaking on behalf of Mia and herself, Melanie tells Carly she can't move in. Maggie apologizes to Carly, but even Carly realizes her being at Maggie's would be awkward for everyone. At the same time, Hope learns Carly's moved out and she and Bo go home to wait for the Christmas tree. While Ciara pulls out decorations, Bo hopes that Hope will consider coming home. He reassures her that Carly is not going to interfere in their lives, but later, Carly shows up at the door. Off Gabi's advice, Arianna calls Brady and learns that he's in Cleveland with Nicole. Arianna admits the reason she was calling is because she's concerned about him, but Brady's so distracted he doesn't hear her and hangs up. Later, Melanie stops by the Brady Pub and she and Arianna talk about the men in their lives. Arianna worries Brady will never stop thinking of Nicole as a victim. Melanie urges Arianna that if she wants Brady then she has to fight for him. Arianna agrees and heads to Cleveland.
