Bo confronts Stefano, but gets nowhere fast. He goes to the Java Café where he runs into Justin, who warns Bo that Carly has only come to Salem to breakup his marriage. Earlier, Justin tries to sand bag Carly's chances of a position at Salem University Hospital, but his attempts are thwarted when he learns Carly and Daniel are old friends. In fact, Carly introduced Daniel to his late wife, Rebecca. They catch up and Daniel tells Justin he didn't appreciate what he was trying to do. Later, Daniel thinks Carly has a good shot at the position and she reflects on what Justin said concerning her more than friendly feelings for Bo. Later Bo tells her that Justin told him "everything" and she nervously blurts out that it's not true. Sami wants to be the one to trap Stefano into admitting that he has Sydney. EJ is on board with her confronting him at first, but later thinks it might be too dangerous. Rafe arrives and thinks it's a great idea for Sami to get Stefano, and says she should wear a wire. They convince EJ, and Sami goes into the DiMera mansion ready to confront Stefano while EJ and Rafe wait outside. Rafe can't help but observe EJ's taken a complete u-turn where his father is concerned. Inside the mansion, Sami accuses Stefano of taking Sydney, and he finally shouts that she will never get her baby back. Did Stefano just confess? Nicole appeals to Chloe for information on Sydney, but comes up short. Desperate for news, Nicole resigns herself to the fact that she's going away for a long time and there is no way she'll ever see Sydney again. She accepts the blame for what she's done and reveals to Chloe that she knows it was her obsessive jealousy of EJ's love for Sami that drove her there. Later, after she has seen how Chloe has softened to her, Nicole asks her to find Brady. He's close to the situation and will tell her updates on whether they have found Sydney or not, but Chloe can't promise anything. Alone in her cell, Nicole has a memory of when she was attacked and realizes that the person who hit her and took Sydney was a woman. Meanwhile, in a small cottage, the mystery woman is gently taking care of Sydney. Arianna and Gabi discuss Rafe and Sami's relationship, and Gabi tells her big sister now that Nicole's behind bars, she has a clean shot at getting back together with Brady. Arianna thinks about what Gabi said about her still loving Brady and takes out her phone to call him.
