EJ and Stefano are at their wits' end in their search for Nicole and Sydney. Alerted by Sami, Roman arrives at the DiMera mansion to set up the investigation. Kate realizes Stefano is searching for Sydney secretly and keeps this from EJ. Stefano believes that only he will be able to find Nicole and Sydney. Nicole hides from Arianna as Gabi refuses to tell her sister where she got her bracelet. Instead, she accuses Arianna of keeping secrets by not telling anyone of her drug use. Gabi runs off, Arianna following, leaving Nicole a chance to get away with a new piece of knowledge about Rafe's sister. Meanwhile, Rafe and Sami come up with a plan to look for Nicole. Sami runs into Brady, who admits he posted Nicole's bail. He apologetically offers to help locate Nicole. Angry Sami wonders when Brady will stop caring for Nicole and rejects his help. Rafe finds Arianna, who tells him it's her fault Brady posted bail. She reveals how Brady is still in love with Nicole. Sami enters the Brady Pub with police fliers just as Gabi moves through, preparing to leave Salem. Sami spots her bracelet and recognizes it as Nicole's. When questioned, Gabi admits to them all that a blond woman with a baby gave it to her. Later, Nicole ends up in Cleveland with Sydney. She dyes and cuts her hair so that no one will recognize her. Bo reacts in concern to the danger Carly will be putting her daughter in if she insists on moving into the same house as her. Carly refuses to change her mind as she reminisces about her troubled life with Lawrence, how she ran away during Lawrence's psychotic break after his illness, and returned to him pregnant with another man's child. Years later, consumed by his obsession over Carly's betrayal, Lawrence tracked her daughter down to have her killed. Carly killed Lawrence to prevent that from happening. While Vivian may pose a threat, Carly just wants to be with her daughter. Bo, moved by her love and determination, agrees to help her.
