After a brief trip to the doctor for Sydney's ear infection, EJ and Nicole return home. Nicole can't believe EJ still thinks she's keeping secrets with Brady. EJ ignores her, determined to get to the bottom of this. When Nicole enters the mansion, she comes face to face with her enemy Kate, who is now living there. She flips and tells Stefano he's making a mistake. Later, EJ tells Nicole that he knew about the marriage and Nicole fumes that he didn't tell her. EJ guesses she's not the only one keeping secrets. Meanwhile, Kate has made a tiramisu for Stefano, but before he can eat a bite, Nicole takes the fork out of Stefano's hands and cautions him about his diabetes. EJ is horrified and Stefano asks for a word alone with Nicole. Nicole reiterates her concerns about Kate and fills him in on why she and EJ came back. She asks for his help. Stefano agrees, but refuses to deal with it tonight. Meanwhile, after Kate belittles Nicole, EJ questions Kate about her motives for marrying his father and puts her on notice. Kate warns that Stefano doesn't scare her, and the truth is that she does have feelings for him. Stefano prepares to raise a glass to his family and new wife, and Nicole stealthily calls Brady for help. Sami is pondering Rafe's e-mail when Will shows up for some advice. He fills her in on what happened with Mia and Chad. Sami think that's awful, but Will is determined to help her. Meanwhile, Mia tries to persuade Chad to drop going after their baby. Chad is reluctant at first but slowly changes his mind. He finally asks if he and Mia get back together, what about Will? Later, Mia shows up at the Brady Pub and Sami lets it slip that she knows about the baby. Mia lays into Will and uses his slip as an excuse to break up with him for betraying her trust. Devastated, Will asks his mom for advice, and Sami tells her son that trust is the hard to regain. Meanwhile, Mia and Chad reconnect. She sadly tells Chad that she and Will are through. Arianna runs into Meredith at the Cheatin' Heart. Meredith holds a grudge for what Rafe did to Emily. Later, Arianna meets with Roman and learns that Sami was also having Meredith investigated. Meanwhile, Rafe struggles to break free from Meredith's basement.
