Chloe coming to and saying Daniel's name pains Lucas and freaks Kate out. Even though Chloe goes back into the coma, Lexie won't allow the living will to take effect. Lucas is torn apart by Chloe saying Daniel's name, and wonders if it means she still loves Daniel, or was trying to place the blame on him. Kate works Lucas, playing on his emotions She goes on to say even if Chloe comes out of the coma, she may be brain damaged, and Lucas will be saddled with her. It may be illegal to take Chloe off life support, but it's the right thing to do. Lucas goes into Chloe's room and imagines her awake and telling him it's Daniel she loves. At the same time, Daniel learns Chloe's lapsed back into the coma and knows he has to get back in there to give her more medicine. In the meantime, after meeting with Justin, Daniel remembers evidence that could nail Kate and heads up to her room to look for it, when Kate arrives home unexpectedly. Victor waits with Troy and Constantine for their top selling drug dealer, but when Victor sees Arianna, he ducks out. When Constantine tries to continue the meeting, Arianna puts up her front, telling them it's the real boss she wants, or she can take her skills elsewhere. After Arianna goes, Victor returns and says he'll figure out what to do about her. Brady and Arianna set to meet up at the park. Brady comes upon Troy, and brings up his stint in rehab. Troy almost blows the secret until Arianna covers. After Troy leaves, Brady and Arianna kiss. Victor interrupts and it looks like he'll rat her out, but instead he invites her to dinner to get to know her better. Philip proposes to Stephanie again, and Melanie and Nathan arrive to see him putting the ring back on Stephanie's finger. Melanie's gracious and congratulates them. Melanie and Nathan take baby steps towards a possible relationship. During all this, the creepy motel manager watches them. He calls his friend about the video that he took of Philip and Melanie having sex.
