Sami is thrilled to see Rafe. EJ and Rafe finally meet, and Rafe makes it obvious he doesn't think highly of the DiMera. Sami tells Rafe to play nice with EJ as she goes to fetch Johnny and Allie. EJ and Rafe continue to butt heads, but before things can heat up, Sami returns with the kids, so they can meet Rafe. Suddenly, Rafe receives a phone call, and informs Sami he must leave town immediately. Crushed to be losing her protector, Sami walks Rafe out while EJ puts the kids back to bed. Sami and Rafe share a close moment and the pair embraces just as EJ witnesses them share a kiss. Nicole, still reeling from EJ hanging out over at Sami's, finds herself talking to Sydney when Stefano approaches her. He demands to know what is bothering her, and Nicole explains very little. After Stefano advises her to relax and exits, Nicole sets out on a mission to find out why Sami told Lucas her baby was dead. She returns to the Convent of the Holy Cross and meets with Sister Theresa. Unbeknownst to Nicole, Stefano has had her followed; further suspecting Nicole is hiding something. Meanwhile, Nicole overhears a baby's cry and asks Sister Theresa if she can see the baby. Sister Theresa agrees. Nicole is saddened to see that Sami has left "her" baby, and wonders if there is something she can do. Bo's vision of Hope making love to another man returns and when Hope lays it on the line, he tells her what he has seen. Hope is horrified, but realizes that it's Bo that is truly being hurt by these visions. Bo tells Hope that maybe they can stop this vision from happening. The two reconcile, and take the warm moment upstairs. Max and Chelsea enjoy a date at the park and discuss their relationship. When Max takes Chelsea home, they are unable to say good night and fold into a heated kiss.
