Maggie is led to believe from the tape Kate had spliced together that Daniel is threatening Chloe. Daniel and Chloe give into their hearts, kissing and in effect recommitting to one another. Suddenly, Chloe collapses. Daniel runs her to the hospital, but nothing is working as he fights to save her. Meanwhile, Bo, Hope, Maggie, and Kate arrive at Maggie's and Bo and Hope investigate. Daniel and the police separately order the food tested that Chloe ate on set, unaware the other has done it. The results get back to both, and while Bo finds the incriminating empty bottle at Daniel's apartment, Daniel calls for a special antidote that will hopefully save Chloe's life. Will Chloe live? Melanie rejects Philip's tempting offer to ride in his new car as she waits for Nathan. When she sees Philip is going to drink and drive, she decides to take control. They go to the Horton cabin where her cell doesn't work well. Honest and charming, Philip hits on Melanie. After all, Melanie has always liked him and he likes her as well. Melanie is hit by his truth, but seems to hold back. However, while Nathan is trying to find Melanie, Philip kisses her and Melanie can't help but respond. Nicole and Will share an unexpected nice moment. Later, Nicole privately grieves for her unborn child all over again. Meanwhile, Chad has not given up on Mia, and he clearly thinks her story of "rehab" is false. Nicole sees Mia is a wreck and promises to fix things. Nicole meets with Chad and grills him about Mia. While Nicole works her magic to get Chad to back off, Will finds an upset Mia, and she might tell him everything.
