Chloe collapses and has fevered dreams of her future with Daniel. She's brought to the hospital in bad shape, but pleads with Lexie not to tell Daniel she's here. Meanwhile, Daniel tells Kate he's quitting the TV show and leaving Salem. Meanwhile, Kate obtains the spliced-together tape and listens to a snippet in which Daniel seems to threaten Chloe. Sami helps Rafe unpack. They enjoy their domestic bliss and make love. Sami finds Emily's engagement ring and momentarily thinks Rafe is proposing. They talk about Emily, and the conversation goes well. They go to the park for EJ to surrender Johnny. EJ watches Rafe with Sami and Johnny and vows that their happiness won't last. Earlier, Will and Mia see Johnny, EJ, and Sydney in the park. They share a remembrance of Grace. Mia expresses her relief to EJ that he is a good dad. EJ wonders what difference it makes to her, and she is forced to cover. Later, Will and Mia enjoy a date while Chad grills Kinsey about them. He recalls a nice moment with Mia and gets suspicious when Kinsey tells him Mia was in rehab. Stephanie is psyched to learn from Lexie that she got the administrative assistant job at the hospital. Melanie talks to Maggie about her plan in reconnecting Philip and Stephanie. She then lures the two of them to the Horton cabin. Philip and Stephanie are both angry when they realize what she's done, but Melanie finally gets them alone and talking. Philip tells Stephanie he will always love her, and Stephanie admits she will always love him, too.
