Dean looks like he's going to shoot Ciara, but he shoots Kyle instead. Brenda flips out, and tries her best to persuade Dean to disappear with her. Dean ponders the thought for a moment, but as they embrace, he shoots her. Bo, Hope, and Roman, along with other search teams, fan out to search for Ciara at the three locations on the map they found in Kyle's room. Just as Bo and Hope arrive at the shack, they hear gunfire. They burst in and find Ciara alive and well. They notice Dean slumped over in a corner and he's been shot in the shoulder. He "explains" that he found Ciara, was shot by the kidnappers, but was able to take them out. Bo and Hope think he rescued Ciara, but only Dean knows what truly happened. Suddenly, Kyle grabs Dean's leg and they wrestle. Bo steps into the brawl, but Kyle whacks him in the head with a 2x4. Dean gets the upper hand and Kyle tries to rat out Dean, but ends up slumping over, dead for good. Roman shows up with police, and Hope brings Ciara up to Dean and tells Ciara this is the man who saved her. Ciara looks at him and says no. Sami's upset off her call from Dr. Baker, having revealed to him that Grace died. Lucas comes over to bring Allie to say goodbye to Sami before the twins leave on a trip to Europe with Doug and Julie. Sami tells him how Nicole and she are friends. Lucas warns her about Nicole, and Sami's defensive about the relationship. When Lucas goes, Sami tries to figure out what Dr. Baker called about. Rafe shows up at Nicole's on the pretense that he's there to thank her for being such a good friend to Sami. He tries to work her to slip up and reveal her connection to Dr. Baker. While Rafe is there, Dr. Baker calls, telling Nicole he's talked to Sami. Nicole covers and tells Rafe it was Sami, but Rafe remains suspicious. After he's gone, Nicole looks for her cell phone to call Dr. Baker back. She can't find it and realizes Rafe took it. Meanwhile, Rafe is on a laptop and with Nicole's phone, tries to triangulate the location of where Dr. Baker was calling from. Chad keeps Mia from getting in the car with drunken Kinsey, who crashes right in front of them. They later learn the passenger side was crushed. Mia realizes Chad saved her life. Will gets some unwanted advice from Lucas about Mia. He makes a declaration about his feelings for her. After he receives news about Kinsey's crash, Will arrives at the hospital in time to find Mia in Chad's arms. Will thanks Chad for saving Mia. Later, Chad tells Kinsey he still thinks there's a connection between him and Mia, but wishes he could get into her head. He overhears Will and Mia discussing her diary, and is intrigued.
