EJ walks in on Nicole with Stefano and demands to know what Nicole is doing here. Stefano is about to tell EJ the truth that Sydney is EJ and Sami's baby until Kate interrupts. Alone with Stefano, Kate tells him she genuinely missed him, and she and Stefano bond. Later, Stefano tells Nicole he'll think about whether or not to tell EJ the truth about Sydney. When EJ is alone with Stefano, he urges his father to confess what he knows about Nicole. Nurse Maxine, however, gives Stefano a sedative and he promises to tell all tomorrow. Upon hearing this, panicked Nicole leaves a message for Sami saying there's something she needs to hear. Justin wonders if Hope is having second thoughts about leaving Bo. Hope says she's not and when she takes Ciara to Victor's, she's pleased to see Ciara bonding with her grandfather. Victor, however, thinks Bo and Hope should get back together and calls Bo to tell him to get to the mansion and talk to his wife. Bo, however, is with Carly, who has told him about killing Lawrence. He tells Victor he can't talk to Hope now. Victor thinks he's a fool. Later, Hope, unable to sleep, runs into Justin. They commiserate over their broken marriages, neither knowing if they can be fixed. Justin, however, feels that Hope's decisions are going to turn out okay and a grateful Hope believes him. Meanwhile, after an awkward reunion, Carly tells Bo that the Alamains are after her and she needs Bo's protection. Bo will help her provided that she tells him everything. Carly agrees. Nathan confirms with Lucas that he can move into Lucas's place. Melanie doesn't want him to go, but Nathan convinces her it's for the best in order to preserve her relationship with Maggie. Maggie interrupts their kiss and tells Nathan he can stay at the house. He thinks leaving is best for everyone. He and Melanie share a sweet kiss before he goes.
