Brady comes clean to Melanie about helping Nicole with her baby deception. Melanie is supportive and tries to build Brady up, but he's pretty down in the dumps. Melanie worries that Brady might be tempted to use, but he remains strong. Later, Brady runs into EJ, who's glad Brady is taking responsibility because EJ's looking for someone to blame. At the same time, Melanie tells Arianna that Brady's hurting. Arianna feels bad and Melanie thinks she should because Brady is the best guy she knows. Sad, Arianna couldn't agree more. Sami and Arianna meet with Roman, who informs them Meredith Hudson has disappeared. Roman assures them both that Rafe is a grown man capable of taking care of himself. Arianna leaves and Sami tells Roman she's really worried. Sami goes to Grace's grave where she receives chills and she begs her daughter to look after Rafe. At the same time, Carly is on her boat when the captain spots a man in the water. The crew fishes him out. It's Rafe – stripped of identification. Carly attempts to save his life, but he goes into cardiac arrest. Bo receives papers regarding Ciara's school transfer from Justin on behalf of Hope. Justin encourages Bo to reach out to his wife. Bo calls her, and learns that she and Ciara are coming home. Bo wonders if this is good news for them. Hope will only say it's good for Ciara. Nicole tells Mia the cat is out of the bag about Sydney. EJ knows the truth. Mia freaks hysterically realizing that Brady warned her, but said everything is okay. Delusional, Nicole tells her she's got the situation under control. However, when Chad overhears, Nicole's day goes from bad to worse. Alone at the mansion, EJ shows how torn he is missing Sydney.
