At Maggie's house, Chelsea and Max join Bo, Hope and Maggie and discuss the fact that Melanie and Nick left town. Maggie finds the threatening note Nick sent Melanie. After Chelsea recognizes Nick's handwriting on the note, Bo and Hope rush back to the station to put out a search on Nick and Melanie. Later, Hope reviews the evidence they have in the case of Trent's murder and realizes Nick is most likely the culprit. Meanwhile, Max and Chelsea go to the Cheatin' heart and discuss Nick and Melanie. Melanie has finally realized that Nick murdered Trent. Anxious to leave the hotel and go to the police, Melanie hits Nick on the head with a glass and runs to the door but he catches her before she can escape. After a struggle, Melanie blurts she knows Nick killed her dad. Nicole asks John to give Brady a chance and EJ speaks to Brady about Nicole. Later, EJ and Nicole meet back up at the mansion where they finally make love. Stephanie gives Philip her resume even though she's been given the internship already, and the two briefly discuss it. Later, Stephanie gets a call from Maggie and learns Nick and Melanie have left town. Philip and Stephanie go to Maggie's house to see if they can help her. Stephanie's cell phone rings. She checks the caller I.D. she sees it's Nick.
