New comedy with Anne Heche! Series Premiere, Thursday 8/7c. Preview now.
EJ finds himself in a bit of a bind. Does he rescue his father from Victor and dissolve the company, or does he find a way to free his father and keep the company? Nicole urges her husband to find a way to fight. EJ tends to agree, but the pressure is great. And just as it looks like EJ may cave, he receives a "message" from Stefano and a possible solution. Meanwhile, Nicole has her own issues to deal with. Reeling off being banished by Dr. Baker, she tells EJ about Baker's fall. She intends to go to the hospital to "check" on him. EJ is too distracted to care. Meanwhile, Rafe shows up at Sami's and agrees to go with her to Grace's check up. Things heat up romantically between the two of them, but they must stop to make it to Grace's appointment. At the hospital, Sami is shocked to see Dr. Baker and flees. Nicole witnesses this and also panics for her own reasons. Later, Lexie is discharging Dr. Baker and Nicole shows up with a wheelchair ready to give him a lift. Back at the townhouse, Sami confides in Rafe the man she saw is the doctor who delivered Grace. If he talks, Sami fears she and Grace will be in grave danger. Rafe tells Sami he'll take care of it. Stephanie accepts Philip's proposal and Victor throws an impromptu celebration on the terrace. The mansion staff is invited including their gardener, Owen. Caroline shows up and is stunned to hear the news and thinks it's a bad idea. She has it out with Stephanie about what it means to be with a Kiriakis man, the kind of life she may have, but Stephanie won't be swayed. She's marrying Philip. Caroline wishes her the best. Despite Philip's reassurances, Stephanie still isn't comfortable with the Kiriakis lifestyle. Back at the DiMera mansion EJ has found Stefano's solution to deal with the Kiriakis family and it appears to be in the form of the seemingly innocent gardener, Owen.
