Trent receives a call from his friend, Claude in Europe. Trent apologizes for Melanie's behavior and the fact that Claude had to spend a night in jail. Claude threatens Trent, telling him to re-pay his debt with either cash or his feisty daughter. Trent tries to secure a loan, but can't. He calls Melanie. Melanie and Max show up at Trent's hotel. He tells her he needs her to set things right with Claude. Max tells Trent to leave Melanie alone. They get into a fight and Trent baits his son. Nick shows up and pulls Max off of Trent. Max is livid and explains how Trent was trying to pimp out his daughter, again, to settle his debts. Melanie tells Trent he's a monster and there's no way in hell she'd help him. Trent tells his children they are not worth a damn. Nick meets Chelsea in the pub and she tells him what just happened between Kate and Daniel. She admits she thinks there is still something going on between the two of them and she can't find it in her heart to forgive either of them. Nick tells her to forgive and move on with her life. Nick points out that he forgave her, when she dumped him for Daniel. Chelsea realizes that and knows it wasn't easy for him. Chelsea wonders if Nick is moving on with Melanie. Nick doesn't know but he's not opposed to getting to know her better. Bo and Roman discuss the fact that Hope turned down the Commissioner's position and they are now afraid DiMera will put one of his associates in the job. Roman thinks Bo should throw his hat into the ring. Bo explains how he likes being a detective; enjoys the hunt. Roman calls the mayor and personally recommends his brother for the job of Police Commissioner. Caroline comes to the station because she's worried sick about Max. She tells Roman and Bo she's afraid of what Max might do. He's impulsive. Someone needs to get Trent Robbins away from Max, before he does something he will regret.
