Rafe drags Nicole to see Sister Theresa at the convent, and confirm his suspicions that Nicole was involved in Grace's death. Unfortunately for Rafe, Sister Theresa's been called away...unexpectedly. At the same time, Sami runs into EJ with Sydney in the park. She spills about babysitting Sydney, and Nicole and Rafe having a confrontation. EJ goes ballistic, which Brady walks in on and gets EJ to back off. When Nicole returns home, EJ's questions her about being friends with Sami and her fighting with Rafe. Before she can fully answer, Nicole is saved when EJ has to take a business call. After EJ leaves, Stefano approaches Nicole telling her that he was responsible for Sister Theresa's unexpected departure. No one's left to tell Nicole's secret. Meanwhile, Brady and Sami continue to bond through pain and hardship while Rafe tells Arianna he's not giving up on finding out the truth about Nicole. At the Brady Pub, Bo and Justin get into it over Bo's decisions on handling Ciara's kidnapping. Victor walks in on the argument. He cautions Bo not to go home to Hope until he cools off. Hope figures out from Ciara's terrified reaction to Dean clicking his Zippo that he's the third accomplice in her kidnapping. She tries to get away, but Bo calls and leaves a message about a tip they've received on a possible third suspect. After hearing this, Dean sees the fear in Hope's eyes and knows that she's on to him. He pulls a gun on Hope and Ciara until Justin shows up. Hope tries to signal Justin that Dean's taken them prisoner, but Justin appears not to get the message. As Dean lays out his hate for Hope, Justin suddenly breaks through the door, and takes Dean to the ground. As the two of them wrestle over Dean's gun, it goes off and Hope screams. Victor gets Brady to admit Arianna and he are over, and Victor plays innocent. Victor tells him he's sorry they split, but Brady's probably better off without her. Later, Brady and Sami bond over having been hurt by the ones they love while Arianna remains upset over having to break Brady's heart. Philip comes to Melanie to apologize for doubting her and suspecting her of putting the sex video on the internet. He realizes she's one of the best friends he's ever had, and he hugs her.
