Kate is putting on a brave face as she undergoes chemo. Daniel admits to Lucas that Kate's odds are not good. Chloe and Kate reach a détente for Lucas's sake. Chloe confides in Daniel that seeing Kate has brought back memories of her own cancer experience. Abe, Lexie, and Theo are interviewed for the "day in the life" feature. Eventually, Theo is overwhelmed and the interview is cut short. Lexie and Abe have doubts about exposing Theo to life in the public eye.
