Nicole confides in John that she's pregnant. EJ arrives for their date, but it is cut short when Lucas calls to tell EJ Sami's in the hospital. EJ bolts, leaving Nicole devastated. Philip and Lucas arrive and learn the biopsy is being done to determine if Kate has lung cancer. Roman and Bo question Caroline with Mickey present. She recalls her dealings with Trent and tells them she threatened to kill him with a knife. They learn that a passerby witnessed the threat. Kayla supports Max and urges him not to give up on Melanie.
