Melanie faces off with a recently returned Maggie who puts her new house guest on notice. Meanwhile, Nick is out of pain medication and is attempting to get more. He runs into Kayla who asks how he's doing. He covers and goes after his own doctor, who writes him another prescription. At the same time, Maggie tells Melanie not to hurt her nephew. She mentions how he has a habit of helping wayward girls and brings up his past with Willow. Melanie doesn't know anything about her and Maggie tells her Willow died. Later, Melanie goes to the park where she runs into Max. He is civil and informs her that Nick confessed his love for her. John is determined to find the killer who is after Sami. He arrives at Marlena's townhouse to tell her he hired a P.I. to help. She's impressed by his pro-active behavior, but both are thrown when Brady Black shows up at her door! Max apologizes to Kayla for not taking her advice before his search to find Melanie. Also, Lexie has trouble with Theo and Chelsea bails her out. However, Lexie feels insecure about her relationship with her son, but Kayla convinces her she's a good mother.
