Sami and Rafe reconcile. However, Rafe learns from Sami that she met with Emily's sister, Meredith, which is unsettling to Rafe. Meanwhile, EJ remains disturbed about his dream about Sami holding Sydney. Nicole, thinking things are resolved with Mia, is freaked out when she senses EJ knows something about Sydney. Nicole confides her fears in Stefano and clearly has no faith that Stefano will be able to stop Sami and Rafe from learning the truth. Later, Nicole meets up with Sami and worries that she already knows. Meanwhile, EJ reveals his upset about his dream to his father. EJ fears for the family he has created with Sydney and Nicole. Stefano warns him to recommit and EJ does just that. Meanwhile, Rafe tracks down Meredith and it becomes clear that she feels there is more to the story of Emily's "accident." She insists that Rafe is hiding information and is completely responsible for her death. Rafe states he will not lose Sami because of his past, and goes home to her. Back at the Salem Inn, Meredith opens the door to the person who brought her back to Salem... Stefano! Brady, off his upset about Chloe, sees a guy, Troy, harassing Arianna in the park and goes on the attack. After the guy runs off, Brady makes no apologies and strongly makes it clear that he has feelings for Arianna. She's blown away and Brady sees she likes him. He presses her to go out with him, lays a kiss on her, and exits. Later, Troy reappears, and Arianna gives him cash for a mysterious package. At the Salem Health Club, Chad remains determined to reconnect with Mia and sets Kinsey in the direction of Will. While Will and Mia continue to bond, Will gets an urgent message about Chloe which leaves Chad with an opportunity. He tells Mia that he will be staying in Salem, and they will be going to the same school in the fall.
