John has been injected with a lethal toxin by Charlotte, and Marlena gives him CPR refusing to give up on him. Brady thinks his father is dead, but miraculously John comes to and is rushed to the hospital. Later, Kayla advises Marlena not to give up, to fight, and she does just that. She keeps vigil by his bedside telling him all about their life, love, and family. After Marlena kisses John, he suddenly opens his eyes and whispers he remembers everything! Meanwhile, Bo and Hope arrest Charlotte and although Bo didn't have a vision, he knows John and Marlena will be together forever. Nicole learns Sami is pregnant with EJ's baby. She's furious and Chloe is sorry she told her. Nicole gets Chloe to blab that Sami's at the Convent of the Holy Cross and decides to pay her a visit. At the same time, Daniel goes to see Lucas with the intention of telling him about his affair with Chloe. However, he realizes how much Chloe means to Lucas and Allie and he decides against it. Chloe arrives at Daniel's apartment determined to give him up. She folds and realizes that Daniel is the one she wants, but Daniel says they can't. When the two try to part ways, they end up giving into temptation and share a searing kiss. While Rafe is facing off with the killer, Sami asks Sister Theresa to help her hide her baby.
