John is distraught when Charlotte tells him his chances of getting his memory back are effectively zero to none. He decides to ask Marlena for a second opinion. She reacts when he calls her "doc," though he insists the hypnosis was ineffective and that he remembers nothing. Hoping to break through, Marlena kisses him. John is affected, but still has no memories of their life together. Marlena confides to Brady that she is suspicious of Charlotte, but perhaps she's overreacting. Charlotte proposes to John that he start a new life... with her help. Marlena leaves a message for Charlotte, wanting to speak doctor-to-doctor. Meanwhile, Brady finds a way into Charlotte's office, where he finds the video of John's hypnosis session, realizes that Charlotte's a liar because his dad is getting his memory back. Nicole and Mia continue to bond, mother-to-mother. Mia is finally persuaded that she doesn't need to meet EJ. However, she pleads with Nicole to at least let her see the house where her child will be raised. Nicole ensures that no one will be home and takes Mia to the DiMera mansion. Mia is highly impressed, especially when she sees the baby's beautiful crib. She is ready to make a commitment to give Nicole her baby when Tony comes home and wonders what's going on. EJ and Stefano plot to take control of the Alternative Fuels Project from the Kiriakis family. Once he has a plan, EJ makes overtures toward Melanie.
