Stefano returns home from a business trip to meet his new granddaughter. After he learns that there were complications during Sydney's birth, he threatens to have the clinic investigated. Later, EJ and Stefano go to the pub. After EJ and Stefano learn that Sami will soon be coming home, EJ tells Stefano that no one, including Sami, will get in the way of his happiness with Nicole. Earlier, Chloe goes to visit Nicole after being confronted by Maggie at the hospital. Chloe tells Nicole about her dilemma with Daniel, and Nicole advises her to figure out what she wants. Nicole tells Chloe she's done a lot to make her dreams come true. Chloe asks Nicole what she means. Maggie confronts Daniel and asks him to break it off with Chloe. Daniel tells Maggie he can't promise to stay away from Chloe. Maggie sees Lucas and approaches him with the intention of telling him about Chloe's affair. Bo and Hope are still at an impasse about Bo not telling Hope about his vision before it happened. Chelsea tries to get Hope to tell her what's wrong, but Hope doesn't. Max tries to do the same with Bo. After receiving a phone call regarding Hope, Bo tells her that she's being investigated by Internal Affairs. Max and Chelsea come together, and worry about Bo and Hope's marriage.
