Chloe is at the hospital in preparation for the bone marrow transplant. Daniel notes her rising blood pressure, and is afraid they'll have to call off the procedure. Chloe gets her emotions under control, and shares an intimate moment with Lucas. Kate is afraid Chloe is having second thoughts about the procedure and insists on speaking to her beforehand, threatening to call it all off. Chloe assures Kate that her concerns have nothing to do with Kate, or the transplant and that she wants to go through with it. Chloe is wheeled off to surgery. Marlena is shocked to learn that she's now sharing her office waiting area with Dr. Charlotte Taylor. John arrives for his session. Marlena reacts to the sound of their laughter coming from Charlotte's office. Marlena speaks with Kayla, who intuits that Marlena is jealous. John walks through the park and runs into Charlotte. He admits that he has one reservation about continuing therapy. He's afraid that if he resumes his old life, he'll get hurt again. Melanie has a tough first day at Titan. Kayla stops by to see Stephanie and is surprised to see Melanie is working there. Melanie temporarily solves her problems by locking Stephanie in the vault. She is unaware; however, that Philip is also inside. Philip and Stephanie eventually end up almost kissing just as the vault door springs open and Melanie is standing there, getting an eyeful.
