Dean is hugely relieved that Ciara doesn't remember or recognize him as one of the kidnappers. However, Bo and Roman remain concerned that there may be an unknown accomplice still out there. At the hospital, Theo is thanked for his contribution to the rescue effort. Everyone is tremendously relieved when Lexie examines Ciara and assures them that Ciara is physically unharmed. However, Bo and Hope react to Dean's statement about the shootout. Due to Bo's plan, Ciara was moments from being killed had it not been for Dean, who intervened. Bo gives Hope a scare after his head injury and Lexie diagnoses a mild concussion, but says he'll be fine. Bo, Hope, and Ciara leave the hospital and are a family reunited, but the tension between them is far from resolved. At home, Ciara has a nightmare in which she remembers the sound of the lighter being flicked. Dean, unaware she heard this, is seen doing the same. Philip and Stephanie celebrate Ciara's rescue with drinks at the Cheatin' Heart. They both lay out all their concerns and decide to start over. Daniel convinces Brady to go through with helping him gain access to Chloe to administer the experimental cure. Brady asks Melanie for help, and in turn, Melanie asks Nathan to meet with Daniel. Earlier, Melanie has had words with Nathan, so she realizes she has her work cut out for her. Meanwhile, Daniel shares with Brady his suspicion that that Kate's still attracted to him. He decides to find a way to use that fact to his advantage and puts his plan in motion. Earlier, Kate goes to Chloe's hospital room and talks to Nathan about convincing Lucas to honor Chloe's living will.
