Nicole is petrified that her wedding is doomed. Chloe is summoned by the wedding planner to calm the bride. Chloe has some reassuring words for Nicole about Sami, and when Nicole asks whether Chloe has any regrets about her marriage, Chloe says no. Meanwhile, Max overhears EJ vowing to avenge Tony's death. Max offers some words of wisdom. EJ seems receptive until Chelsea arrives on the scene and strongly defends Philip. EJ grows very angry and is thus in a foul mood when he shows up at the church to see Nicole. He finds her in the midst of being thanked and embraced by Stephanie for helping Philip. This puts him over the edge, and he and Nicole have yet another fight. Nicole makes a passionate case for their future together, and she finally asks him to commit once and for all: Are they getting married tomorrow or not? EJ says they'll see what tomorrow brings. Chloe and Lucas are in their full newlywed splendor as witnessed by Daniel at the pub. Maggie offers to fix up Daniel on a date, and after much protest, finally accepts. Meanwhile, Chloe gets a job offer with the Vancouver opera. Chelsea and Max are about to make love when Stephanie walks in on them. They discuss the awkwardness of the roommate situation, which grows more awkward when Max takes it upon himself to warn Stephanie off of Philip. Max is afraid Stephanie will be endangered by the DiMeras' plans for revenge, but Stephanie holds her ground and says she's standing by her man.
