Carly's flight has made an emergency landing, and her old friend, Omar has spirited her away on his boat. After settling in, Carly recalls the events that lead her to killing Lawrence. Carly decides to wait to contact Bo until she's made landfall in Salem. Victor summons Bo to his home to question why Kate is still free after her many recent crimes. Bo accuses Victor of being jealous of Stefano, which Victor refutes, leading into him informing Bo of the news of Lawrence's death. When Bo expresses concern about Carly, Victor excoriates him. Victor goes through a litany of the women who have wronged him and his family. Victor explains that Bo is the only who has found true love. He advises Bo not to let Hope slip away. Hope has brought Justin to the lodge to execute paperwork transferring Ciara to a private school. Justin warns Hope that making his decision without Bo may push him further away. Hope convinces him this is not a punitive action against Bo, but more like a necessary step she must take to regain control of her life. After Justin leaves, Ciara asks when they're going home. Hope promises her daughter it will be soon. Kate tells EJ he has done the right thing in tossing Nicole to the curb. EJ tells Kate to mind her own business, and shows signs of missing his little girl. Meanwhile, Nicole tells Chloe that she will not let EJ punish Sydney for her sins. She returns to the mansion, and places Sydney into EJ's arms. EJ is moved, but forces himself to return Sydney to Nicole and tells her to get out. Chloe hears from Lucas, who wants to make amends for his 12-step program, but tells Chloe to stay away from his daughter, Allie. Kate overhears and goes ballistic. Chloe puts Kate in her place, but Kate privately wonders what Victor will have to say about Chloe and Daniel's "happily-ever-after" plans.
