EJ and Nicole decide to have Sydney christened. While they are making plans, Stefano tells the couple they should consider having the christening at the Convent of the Holy Cross. Nicole panics when Stefano finally asks her why she went to the convent. Nicole lies and tells Stefano that she was doing charity work. She soon realizes that Stefano doesn't know she switched babies with Sami. Meanwhile, Sister Theresa informs Sami that Grace has a bad rash and she's run out of ointment, but Sami can't leave to bring her more. Rafe offers to go on Sami's behalf, which relieves Sami. Will arrives at the Brady pub and tells Sami that Lucas has eloped. Later, Nicole and EJ, along with Sydney, meet Sami for their weekly custody exchange. After Father Matt shows up and brings up Sydney's christening, EJ awkwardly invites Sami and she accepts. Alone, Sami calls Rafe and tells him she has to find a way to bring Grace home. In Vegas, Lucas and Chloe arrive at the Justice of the Peace, wanting to get married. Meanwhile, Kate tells Victor about her plans to follow Lucas and Chloe to Las Vegas and stop them from eloping. Victor tries to dissuade her. Ignoring Victor's advice, Kate boards a plane to Las Vegas. Tony tries to convince Melanie they should become partners in her fuels project. Melanie finally agrees. She goes to Max and tries to get the last copy of the blueprints but he refuses to give it to her. Melanie tells Tony she wasn't able to get the blueprints, but she will try again.
