While Sami is given "her" baby for the first time, Nicole puts her next part of the plan in action by leaving a message for EJ and is stunned to learn he's already back in town. Nicole needs Sami to leave the clinic as Sami realizes she must get out immediately with her baby, and in effect, unwittingly helps Nicole. Nicole has Dr. Baker call EJ to lie and tell him that Nicole's in labor. Meanwhile, Rafe regains consciousness and goes to find Sami at the convent. Sami arrives and Rafe tries to warn her about the killer, but collapses. Back at the clinic, EJ arrives and finds Nicole holding "her" daughter. Bo worries about the flash he had of Kayla being shot by Hope. At the hospital, Kayla realizes the killer looks familiar and is suddenly attacked by the killer. Daniel rushes in and saves her. After Kayla checks out to be fine, she and Daniel go to work to save the killer's life. Kayla puts the pieces together believing this man is Marino's killer and calls Hope, who leaves a message for Bo telling him she's going to the hospital to see Kayla. As Hope arrives, the killer takes Kayla hostage while Bo learns from Hope's message that she's with Kayla! Maggie confronts Chloe who tries to explain her affair. Maggie seems not to being having it, but when they meet up with Lucas, she decides to say nothing. Maggie instead puts Chloe on warning as Chloe swears she is done with Daniel.
