Stephanie and Philip run into an angry Stefano who still blames Philip for Tony's death. Philip insists Stefano should be angry with himself for driving Tony to desperate measures to prove himself worthy of his father. Nonetheless, Philip understands where Stefano's pain and loss is coming from. Stefano points out that until Philip feels what Stefano feels, he understands nothing. Philip decides to move out of the mansion and into Stephanie's apartment. Shocked, Nicole learns that Dr. Baker has taken a job as a pediatrician at the hospital. She insists she'll go to the hospital board about his baby brokering, but Baker warns if she does, he'll reveal her secret about the baby switch. Reaching a stalemate, Nicole fires Baker as Sydney's doctor and starts to go when Baker tells her he knows Mia is back in town. How will Mia feel if she should ever learn Nicole switched her baby for Sami's? Meanwhile, Will convinces Mia to hold Grace. Mia feels an instant connection to the baby, but the moment is broken when Nicole calls and insists they meet. Sami goes to EJ to comfort him about Tony. They bond and Sami decides to tell him about Grace's parentage. Before she can, Stefano arrives, still angry off his confrontation with Philip. Sami is distressed to see that EJ is as determined to get revenge on Philip as Stefano is. She decides not to tell him the truth about Grace.
